Round The Town Firemen, Bands To March I Vjfc 1 I ' tit Fire Prevention Week will begin Saturday Saturday in Louisville with the annual Fire Prevention Parade, featuring this year's parade queen Miss Nancy Schneider, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Al J. Schneider of 2830 N e w b u r g Road. The official dbserv-awce dbserv-awce dbserv-awce will begin next Sunday. The parade will be sponsored by the Louisville Fire Pre vention Council and Nancy Schneider the St. Matthews Jay- Jay- cees. Several high school marching bands, floats and volunteer volunteer fire departments will take part, f w Addison F. McOhee, civilian aide to the secretary of the Army, will welcome ifehe convention of the 5th Field Signal Battalion to Louisville, Oct. 6. About 150 will attend the four-day four-day four-day meeting at the Brown Hotel. A special memorial ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. Oct. 9. w Parent Instruction" will be taught from Oct. 4 through 20, at the Red Cross Chapter House, 1355 S. Third. They will be offered each Monday and Wednesday for three weeks. Enrollment is limited to 20 students per class, and advance registration is required.
